A Limited Edition Art Nouveau–Inspired Fiber Blend

Inspired by the flowing lines and romantic color palettes of Art Nouveau, this extra chunky blend of rare Churro wool and recycled fibers is perfect for adding depth, texture, and vintage elegance to your creations. Designed for versatility, it can be blended into art batts and rolags, spun into expressive yarns for knitting, weaving, or crochet, or used directly in wet and needle felting, mixed media projects, and even paper making for unique flecks of texture and color. A little goes a long way, and every bag is subtly one-of-a-kind, with variations in texture size and the nuanced tones of the hand-dyed fibers.

Inside this handcrafted LIMITED EDITION blend you’ll find:

  • WOOL MALLOWS – Hand-dyed “marshmallows” of rare Churro wool
  • WOOL NEPPS – Tiny balls of wool for bumpy, polka-dot texture; zero-waste and beautiful when blended with mohair or other long fibers
  • SPARKLE – A touch of Angelina fiber for a glimmering dimension of glitz
  • RECYCLED THREADS – Hand-cut remnants of wool, cotton, linen, and other high-quality weaving threads for a scrappy, artisanal aesthetic

The Churro sliver (roving) is grown and sourced in the USA and proudly listed on the Shave ’em to Save ’em Livestock Conservancy list. I’ve gently conditioned it with Unicorn Fibre Rinse to soften the handle while preserving the authentic character of this medium heritage wool. Beginner-friendly yet beloved by experienced makers, it blends beautifully with fine wools and mohair to create fibers and fabrics worthy of an heirloom.
