2015 has been a year of change for me. A new wheel, new yarn ideas, new parenting responsibilities - and now a new blog platform. I'm also phasing out the "Neauveau Fiber Arts" label that I've had for over a decade, and I'm just being me.
So please pardon the broken links and mess that this overhaul will create. But it was just one of those necessary changes that, once I realized it had to happen, it had to happen. Seems like everything has kinda happened all at once. Isn't that just the way life is sometimes?
Anyway, thanks for your encouragement and support! I hope that this website is a fun and inspirational resource for you if you're wanting to learn how to spin yarn. Please check out my events page for upcoming Gratitude Yarn spin alongs or classes near the Boston Area. You can also find my videos at howtospinyarn.com.
My son, Sam (aka "Samspun") just turned two and he is already learning how to spin. Here is is helping me teach a class at the Massachusetts Sheep and Wool Festival last May. I gave him the SpinOlution Firefly foot pedal to press and he got to control the speed. Working with him on that yarn was a highlight.
